Is it true that hard drives of digital copiers store an image of every document copied, scanned or emailed by the machine? What security do you offer? |

Most machines do not automatically store data to the hard drive. (Konica Minolta and Canon copiers do not save to the hard drive by default.) It is an option that you can choose but you would need to manually select it.
If you have chosen to store your data, there are several ways to protect that data when you get rid of your copier such as re-formatting the hard drive, overwriting the data, or destroying the hard drive. |

What options do you have for tracking usage, or ensuring that only authorized individuals are using our MFPs? |

Applied Copier Concepts offers advanced security options including Biometric and HID authentication with many of our machines. With the biometric finger vein reader, by simply placing a finger on the device, the user is authenticated and given access to the machine at the permission level he or she has been granted.
Konica Minolta's proximity card device connects directly to the USB port of the workgroup multifunction printers and allows users to use their HID card to authenticate them before copying, faxing, scanning or releasing print information.
Many of our multifunction products have features that are designed to control access, audit device usage, protect documents that may be stored within memory and proivde for users to erase memory storage prior to machine disposal. |

What happens if our copier cannot be repaired in our office? Do you provide a loaner, and if so, is there a charge? |

| Warranties vary with the different manufacturers of our products. We have a maintenance contract available which will provide 100% all-inclusive coverage for your machine, for the life of the contract. We also have maintenance options that provide for service on an as-needed basis, with charges for parts and labor only. |
